Confidential Manufacturing is Hiring a Firefighter Near Pittsburgh, PA

MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL

Must be U.S. Citizen. • Minimum age of twenty-one (21) •

  • Have a high school degree or equivalent diploma.
  • Be able to read, write, and speak fluent English language as well as prepare written reports and maintain records.
  • Be in good physical health sufficient to complete service as required by this contract.

Firefighter – Driver/Operator RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works at the direction of the Operations Chief, or Fire Captain.
  • Performs daily work assignments and completes all assigned training.
  • Serves Driver/Operator or Hand Lineman position at the discretion of the assigned fire officer.
  • Operates fire vehicle in a safe manor.
  • Inspects assigned vehicle, tools, equipment and Personal Protective Gear daily to ensure serviceability and reports discrepancies to Fire Lieutenant or Captain.
  • Operates on emergency incident scenes under the direction of his or her company officer. • Maintains and accomplishes all training requirements.
  • Perform all tasks as assigned by fire officers. FIREFIGHTER-DRIVER/OPERATOR REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (IFSAC/Pro-Board/TCFP)
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in Structural Firefighting
  • Airport Rescue Firefighter (ARFF)
  • Hazardous Materials Operations/Awareness
  • Firefighter I & II • Emergency Medical Responder, National Registry/TCFP EMT-B within 1 year of employment
  • AHA CPR/AED or equivalent • NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800

Job Type: Temporary

Pay: $49.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 60 per week

Schedule:

  • 12 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift

Work Location: On the road
